Warranty Information Printer-friendly pdf version in English, en Español WINDSTRIPS® agrees to pay $6.00 per square of tarpaper lost, due to wind damage, on roofs dried-in prior to shingling, providing the WINDSTRIPS® were properly installed according to our installation instructions. This specifically does not include situations where the winds were accompanied by hail or flying debris for example, tree limbs or situations in which the walls have not been sheeted or the windows have not been installed. WINDSTRIPS® accepts no liability and will not pay for any damage to the structure or its contents due to lost tarpaper. Claims must be accompanied by recognizable pictures of the structure and the specific area affected as well as the name, address and phone number of the roofing contractor; license #; the name of the municipality (state, county, or city) that issued the license; name and address of the supplier that the product was purchased from; date of purchase; date of damage and an approximate idea of the maximum wind speed that caused the damage.
